Thiron-Gardais owes its fame to its famous abbey founded in 1114 by Saint-Bernard d'Abbeville, of which the abbey church remains, a beautiful medieval park of 4 ha composed of a fishpond and various theme gardens that invite to a sensory walk, the tithe barn and ponds.
