BLOCKBUSTER is a theatrical O.V.N.I.. This play-film parody is based on 1,400 shots taken from 160 Hollywood films. The result is a blockbuster with a completely rewritten original script.

All the ingredients of the blockbuster are brought together in this clever mashup: Manichean heroes, chases and spectacular explosions. The Collectif Mensuel dexterously provide live voice dubbing, homemade sound effects and live music. Nothing is left to chance. Blockbuster is a fable about the violence of the ruling class against the people, in which humor is conceived as an instrument of protest. Liberating!
