This trail may not be long, but it does work its way up some hills that you'll have to pedal up before reaching Piclos Mound at 281 metres above sea level! You'll be rewarded with some breathtaking views and take a well-deserved rest as you visit the villages.
This trail will acquaint you with the local heritage of La Perche. Follow the hedges lining the lanes as far as the churches of Frétigny, Marolles-les-Buis and Saint-Denis-d'Authou; as well as Saint-Hilaire-des-Noyers Chapel.
In the clearing of the maquis, at the foot of the stone stele, you'll feel as if time is standing still as your thoughts stray to these maquisards of Plainville who liberated Nogent-le-Rotrou on 11 August 1944.
