This fairly long trail with a few gentle climbs is dotted here and there with pretty manor houses and small châteaux. The scenery around Le Perche Gouet is a patchwork of cereal fields and farmland for livestock heralding nearby Le Perche.
Weave your way between the lush-green valleys of the Ozanne and Foussarde rivers and drink in the wide open countryside of Le Perche Gouet. You'll be treated to some breath-taking sweeping views over the interlacing fields of crops and woodland from the peaks of this trail. Spare some time for admiring the châteaux, manor houses and half-timbered houses too, with striking finials on their roofs. You're sure to come across a hare and pheasant or two as this area is teeming with them, and perhaps spot a hen harrier gliding over the wheat fields, or a common buzzard circling high above the edge of the woods.
